Saidabad Surface Water Treatment Plant, Bangladesh

Saidabad Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) is presently the major surface water treatment plant in Dhaka, Bangladesh. With a reported capacity of 450,000 m3/d the plant serves more than 230,000 connections. The raw water is drawn from the Sitalakhya River via the DND canal.
